Concealed Carry Course - Brigham City

This class will be taught at the Hampton Inn in Brigham City: 40 N Main St, Brigham City, UT 84302

In this class you will receive everything you need for your concealed carry application. We’ll do fingerprints, photos, application, and firearms familiarity! I will even send your application for you. You do not need to bring a firearm to this class, there is no shooting portion. Just a basic loading and unloading of dummy rounds which I will help you through :) 

After you attend this course, you'll have 1 year to send in your application, if you choose to send it in yourself. Once the BCI receives it, they'll charge $53.25 for the background check, fingerprint processing, and physical permit. If this is is a financial stretch, you can wait up to 1 year before you send in the application. 

What to bring with you to the class: 

 o Your Utah drivers license

 o A notebook if you would like to take notes

 o Payment if you didn't pay on the website while registering

The constitutional concealed carry has passed and comes into effect May 5, 2021. There are still many many benefits for having a concealed carry permit and taking this course. It's imperitive that anyone who conceal carries knows the laws and how to be a law abiding concealed carrier and gun owner. 

Some of the benefits of having the permit: 

1) the valuable information learned from the course

2) reciprocity with 36 other states

3) safety in school zones -- i.e. you can have a penality up to 5 years in prison for having a firearm within 1000 ft of a school without a permit. It needs to be in a locked case if you do not have a permit.
